The next issue of Sekka will explore Arab folklore.

العربية

The next issue of Sekka Magazine will explore Arab folklore- the customs, traditions, culture, beliefs, music and dances of the Arab world, as well as the stories, myths and legends that have been passed down from generation to generation throughout it.  What are they? How did you come to know them? What role have they played in your lives throughout time? What effects did they have on you growing up? How much space should Arab folklore occupy in our lives? What stories, customs and beliefs do you carry, and you believe should be passed on? Which should disappear? How, and in what ways, can we represent Arab folklore today?  These are some, but not all of the questions, we seek to ask through this issue.
