‘Art is a way of life. We have to see art in everything surrounding us,’ states Khalid Alshaqsi, a 25 year old emerging photographer from Oman.
His series of photographs, which was created in collaboration with Mohammed Fhadil Alqutaiti, Abdalrahman Gumaah Alqutaiti and Abd Al Aziz Youssef Obaid Alkyomi, is a testament to that.
The first photograph in the series creatively depicts individuals’ ability to manage their lives entirely on their own and emphasizes the importance of being self-built. The second captures the significance of being in touch with everything that surrounds us and being in sync with our environment. The third photograph advocates the importance of striving for inner peace.
